The Queen Mary Shipwreck in Long Beach, California has been providing scares and thrills for more than fifteen years. Each year promises to bring bigger and better attractions to keep everyone entertained. With over fifteen nights of terror, you can book your trip knowing you’ll be very scared. Be warned – this event is not for small children or those with severe health issues.
The Queen Mary Shipwreck is currently in the process of being revamped. The show is going to re-launch with new attractions this Halloween. At the present there are no available details about the event; however, if the ship is anything like the past, it will prove to be a real fright.
In the past, there were several different adventures you could experience when visiting the Queen Mary Shipwreck. Among the attractions there was a pirate maze called Blackbeard’s Revenge as well as a psychedelic crazy clown maze that promised to taunt you with each twist and turn you make. A vampire village and a foggy graveyard were parts of the excitement and sheer terror.
In the past the ship hosted mazes galore. There were many different mazes with many different characters waiting to pounce on you when you least expect it. The mazes were located at different areas of the ship with attractions in between.
Inside the Queen Mary, there is nightlife as well. There is a DJ on site who provides dance tunes through the wee hours of the morning. Most goers will hit the dance floor late at night after the haunting has been had. With different dance floors and nightlife activities to choose from, there is no time to be bored!
All in all, you can expect the re-launch to be a horror fest as prior years were. As the details emerge, you can follow them on the website at www.queenmary.com. As usual, they promise the event to be worth the time and money. Remember not to take any small children as they will not enjoy the event, nor will they be allowed to enter due to safety precautions. This event may not be for you either if you are faint of heart.
