Shaklee challenged me by asking: “What’s under your kitchen sink?” In all honesty, I’d never looked! And afterwards, I wish I hadn’t.
Shaklee is proud of the things you won’t find in their line of cleaning products. Their cleaning products have been reviewed and endorsed for saftety by Healthy Child Healthy World.
* Based on comparing number of uses as set forth on product labels of conventional, ready-to-use cleaners.
This was my first experience with the Shaklee line of products, but I had heard so many positive things online that I was excited to try them.
The first item that I tried was the Basic H2® Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate and following the directions, I mixed 1/2 tsp of concentrate with 16 ounces of water in one of the included spray bottles.
My mission was to clean the bath tub to see if the Shaklee cleaner could handle the job. One of the first positive things I noticed was the absence of a strong odor. Secondly, I was impressed with how well the cleaner worked on some pretty tough stains. Most importantly, the sheer amount of cleaner that you get from one bottle of concentrate spoke very loudly to my frugal heart.

Pinesol and Bleach.
I keep detergents underneath my sink; I think they have phosphates.
I have the typical chemical cleaners too. As it ends up, I have an adult daughter living here right now, and most of it triggers her asthma when we use it. Yeah, I need a makeover.
What……. The black skull means that it is safe….. Right?
Bleach, Windex, yikes more than I'd like to say. I do have a few nicer things like Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent, but that's about the only "green" thing I have.
I have carpet cleaner that scares me !
I have almost all of those under my sink.
I LIKE Shakelee Corporation on Facebook.
Pine Cleaners, Comet, Bleach
Vinegar, extra dish soap and comet.
I have clorox wipes, windex and different varieties of dawn. Keeping my granddaughter out is getting harder.
i have tons of cleaning chemicals, most that don't work anyway…I know they are all dangerous.
I have simple green, some 409, and a couple other things
I have bleach and Lysol. I need some green products!
I found ammonia under my sink. I need to green it up for my kids.
I love LOve LOVE shaklee . I need more of their products after 4 years I am out. Under my sink are plastic bags and pots
I have rags and bird seed under there. My 3 year old likes to take out the chemical bottles so they're in the laundry room!
More and more I find myself drawn to green cleaning products and opting away from the traditional but harmful ones that I've always used, bleach etc…. These look so interesting.
I actually only have natural cleaning products now. But my mom once bought this bottle of cleaner from them and it lasted forever. I would love to be able to give her this prize so she stops using chemical cleaners you would think she would switch back considering how often she has to buy new cleaner compared to having the other one literally for like 15 years with one bottle. Ok she only used it to clean the kitchen table but still it lasted.
So I found some ungreen things under my sink, that include at least most of those ingredients you listed. Now I am happy to say that I do have natural cleaning products but to be honest with you, my frugality is what will keep me from purchasing what I already have. I would love to be able to win the Shakelee starter kit to finally complete my green cleaning and living.
Bleach and would love to eliminate dangerous products!
I have a couple things that aren't green underneath my sink *gasp* but I have been trying to convert. This would help!
I have bleach and other things I can't pronounce. I have a 2 yr old and would love to eliminate all of the dangerous chemicals.
bleach. and I'd like to use less of it, but products with it are cheap and green products are not.
